Horsefly Farm Training Facilities
Horsefly Farm has a 60' round pen, a trail course, a 75 x 150 arena and plenty of room to work the horse in a trail environment. The John Lyons methods are used on all trainees brought to the farm. It's the best way to find any problems or idiosyncrasies in each horse. So far, (knock on the wooden fence post) we have successfully ridden each of the horses without any bucking, which makes them a more confident mount for their owners.
The training program is reasonably priced at $550 for a four-week program (2009-10 rate) which includes board and feed. The horses are worked at least one hour per day on a 5-6 day work week.

Testimonials
"Hi there Rita, I just wanted to thank you again, you did such an awesome job training blue mare for me. She has been much more receptive towards developing a bond and relationship with me, and we are doing well together. Its been almost a year, and I am still able to catch her with ease, when I walk through the paddock she doesn't turn tail and run like she used to.
"She had three months off to foal, I went to ride her and she behaved absolutely PERFECTLY! Even with her two month old foal left behind in the paddock with the my other mare, she walked out freely and we had a nice short ride. She accepts the bridle with no fuss about her ears now. I am really impressed. I had tried to bond with her for 3 years before sending her to you, and she was not even remotely interested in a relationship with me.
"Whatever you did to get through to her really stuck well, and she is turning into my dream horse! I know I never could have achieved this without your help, you paved the way and I really appreciate it! Here is a picture of her and her foal, I will send you a picture of me riding her soon. Thank you again, I will reccomend your services to anyone!"
